Sense and Sensuality
MILADO Art Gallery is excited to present a first online exhibition Sense and Sensuality that explores the subtle, often unspoken dialogue between the body, the mind, the nature and the material world.
Showcasing a collection of works by international contemporary artists - Tamara Jovandic-Everson, Shahnaz Aghayeva, Gleb Skubachevsky, Marina Altukhova, Olga Prinku and a very special gallery guest Deborah Azzopardi, this exhibition invites viewers into a space where sensory perception and emotional intimacy intersect.
From the feminine forms of Shahnaz Aghayeva mythological ladies to meditative forms of Gleb Skubachevsky Map of Universe graphics, from the solitude of introspection Marina Altukhova’s In Between Two Worlds to the pulse of desire Lady in Red by Tamara Jovandic-Everson, each artwork embodies a tension between control and vulnerability.
The artists investigate what it means to feel - through skin, memory, instinct, or imagination. Whether in figurative or abstract language, they express the complexity of human experience: our connection to nature, to others, and to ourselves.
Sense and Sensuality is not about spectacle, it is about imminent presence - an invitation to slow down, observe, and feel. In a world of noise, the exhibition creates a quiet yet potent dialogue between the viewer and the artwork, urging us to rediscover the profound beauty of perception itself.
