Tatiana Fetisova: "In 2021, in Istanbul, I was severely bitten by a pack of dogs, and since then my feelings about them have never been simple. Let’s play painting shows that split: a balloon-like pup with bright eyes and a happy tongue, exactly how my mind still wants to see dogs: sweet, goofy, harmless. My body, though, remembers the attack and still tightens with fear every quiet barking. This painting is part of my way through that gap between memory and hope, a small step toward trusting joy again."
